Event Description

Blue Lapis Light's Student Showcase features aerial dance works created for and by students.  We are elated to present our students at Blue Lapis Light's studio Friday & Saturday, May 22 & 23, 8pm  Show, 7:30pm Doors.
*Saturday's show rescheduled for Sunday May 31st at 7:00pm*

This performance is an incredible culmination of enthusiasm for aerial dance.   Students and instructors collaborate in creating dances to express the many moods and facets of aerial performance.  The final creation includes original student works, faculty choreography, and collaborative class choreography.

Students prepare for 6-8 weeks, learning and building on their skills in the air.  Come showtime, students astound us again and again with their daring and soulful performances.  We are excited to include the work of our exceptional Youth Taking Flight (YTF) students in this special showcase. YTF is Blue Lapis Light's semester long outreach program, focusing on aerial creation with local underserved youth. We hope you can join us for this spectacular event!

This is a popular event and tickets often sell out. We suggest purchasing online in advance for a discounted price of $12. No seat numbers are assigned- tickets are open by section. 

Tickets will be available at the door for $15, Cash and Credit Cards are accepted.

Light refreshments will be served at intermission, with a suggested donation for drinks.
